English has gone beyond the classroom walls for 7th «I» students, who recently visited Stas Namin Theatre to see one of the greatest rock operas in the world 15.12.2025

Prior to the theatre-going the students discussed the history of rock music and the reasons for its emergence and popularity, the difference between an opera and a rock opera and got to know some fundamentals from Andrew Lloyd Webber's life and career for them to soak up the performance.

The legendary musical «Jesus Christ Superstar» directed by Stas Namin and Andrew Rossinsky and performed in English presented a challenging and ultimately rewarding theatrical experience for the students. Dynamic staging, strong vocals and energetic and emotional performance offered an opportunity for them to engage with a complex narrative, appreciate the performing arts and deeper understand the historical and cultural context of the story, making a lasting impression.
